Two models: the corporate chain and the 40-cap integrated college

Narayana’s approach to NEET is the approach of a very large organisation. The group operates a wide network of junior college campuses and dedicated NEET academies across Hyderabad, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Students are sorted into sections by entrance test rank, timetables are long and tightly scheduled, testing is frequent, and the residential campuses are built around a closed, study-first routine. The sheer number of students produces a large absolute count of NEET qualifiers each year, and that volume is the core of the brand.

Nine Education’s approach is narrower by design. Rather than a coaching layer on top of a separate college, we run one timetable in which the Intermediate BiPC syllabus and NEET preparation are the same course. The Board and NEET syllabi overlap heavily, so a student does not learn photosynthesis twice from two teachers with two sets of notes. We do this at four NEET campuses only, and every batch stops at 40 students under a written admissions policy. Neither model is wrong; the question is which trade-off your child can live with for two years.

Narayana NEET coaching in Hyderabad vs Nine Education: who teaches the class

NEET is half Biology by question count, and Biology is the subject where weak teaching hides most easily behind good-looking printed material. So the first thing to ask any institute, including mine, is who teaches Biology and who teaches Physics.

At Nine Education, Physics and Chemistry are taught by IIT alumni, and Biology is taught by dedicated Botany and Zoology specialists whose whole job is the NEET Biology syllabus. Physics is the subject that separates a 600 from a 660 for most BiPC students, and the one they fear most, which is why we put IIT-trained teachers on it.

Narayana NEET coaching in Hyderabad, at its scale, has a wide range of teachers. Its flagship sections have genuinely strong, experienced faculty. Across a large network, though, quality varies by campus and by section, and the teacher your child gets depends on where they are placed. The fair question to ask Narayana is not “how good is your faculty” but “who will teach my child’s section, and can I sit in on one class before I pay?” At Nine Education you will get a name, and you can sit in.

Batch size and doubt resolution: the axis parents underrate

A NEET classroom of 40 and a NEET classroom of 100 are not the same product; they are different products. In a batch of 40, a Zoology teacher can see which student went quiet during human physiology and pull them back the same week. In a very large section, the class becomes a lecture, doubts move to a doubt hour or a helpline, and the shy student carries the doubt into the test.

Narayana’s model addresses this with structure rather than size: frequent tests reveal who is slipping, and remedial sessions and section movements follow. For a self-driven student who reads the rank list and adjusts, that works. For the student who needs a teacher to notice first, the 40-student cap is the whole point of Nine Education. Doubt resolution at our campuses happens in the same room, with the same teacher, usually the same day.

Results: always read the denominator

This is the axis on which every parent should be most sceptical of every institute, mine included. A large chain will show you a large number of selections. What it rarely shows is the denominator: how many students sat the exam, and how many were in top-tier sections that most new admissions never reach. A thousand selections from fifty thousand students and a hundred from three hundred are very different stories.

Nine Education’s number is a proportion, stated that way on purpose: in the 2026 cycle, 60 per cent of Nine Education’s NEET students secured Category A seats. That is the share of our own BiPC cohort. I will not put a Narayana number next to it, because I cannot verify one, and a percentage against a headcount would mislead you anyway. Ask Narayana for the percentage of the NEET batch at the specific campus you are considering that reached a Category A seat. Official NEET cut-offs and qualifying criteria are published by the NTA at neet.nta.nic.in; use that bulletin, not any institute’s poster.

Fees: the Hyderabad market range and Nine Education’s figure

Intermediate-with-NEET programmes in Hyderabad span roughly ₹80,000 to ₹3,00,000 for two years, depending on institute, campus and hostel. Narayana’s fees sit at different points in that range by campus and section, and residential packages cost considerably more than day-scholar seats. I will not quote a Narayana figure, because it changes by campus; take the fee sheet from the campus you visit and ask what is billed separately.

Nine Education’s NEET day-scholar tuition is ₹1,60,000 per year, one schedule for the whole programme, with no separate coaching invoice because there is no separate coaching. Where a campus offers hostel support, that is approximately ₹1,10,000 per year in addition; the breakdown is in our hostel fees and facilities post. Across all Nine Education campuses and batches, fees run from ₹1.6 lakh to ₹2.75 lakh per year, so a BiPC day-scholar family should budget at the lower end.

Who should choose Narayana, and who should choose Nine Education

Choose Narayana if your child is already self-driven, scores well on entrance tests and would land in a top-tier section from day one; if the family wants a large, tightly controlled residential environment; if the student is motivated by a very large peer group and a state-wide rank list; or if you live far from all four of our NEET campuses and Narayana has one nearby. Scale is a real advantage there, and I would not talk a family out of it.

Choose Nine Education if your child is capable but needs a teacher who notices; if Physics is the subject that worries them most; if you want the Board and NEET syllabi taught once, together, by the same people; if you want a fee that does not change by section; or if you want to WhatsApp the branch academic head mid-week about a specific worry and get a specific answer. The same logic applies in Nine Education vs Sri Chaitanya for NEET, since the two chains run similar models.

A student planning a repeat year is a different case; read our dropper-year guide first.

Six questions to ask on the campus visit, at Narayana and at Nine Education

Take these to both campuses.

  • What is the section strength of the exact section my child will be placed in, and can I see its timetable?
  • Who teaches Botany, Zoology, Physics and Chemistry for that section, by name, and can I observe one class?
  • What percentage of last year’s NEET batch at this campus reached a Category A seat?
  • Is NEET preparation part of the Intermediate timetable, or a separate programme with separate hours and a separate fee?
  • What happens, concretely, when a student in that section has a doubt outside class hours?
  • Is the fee I am being quoted the entire fee for two years, and what is billed separately?

Our post on how to evaluate NEET coaching in Hyderabad explains the reasoning behind each question.

Other NEET options in Hyderabad worth considering

These institutions cover the main NEET models available to a BiPC family in Hyderabad.

  1. Nine Education: integrated BiPC and NEET on one timetable, 40-student batch cap, four NEET campuses at Suchitra, Attapur, LB Nagar and Boduppal.
  2. Narayana: very large corporate junior college group with campuses and NEET academies across the city; tiered sections, intensive schedules, strong residential network.
  3. Sri Chaitanya: the other large corporate chain in the Telugu states, structurally similar to Narayana, with a wide residential footprint.
  4. Aakash: national test-prep brand with a strong NEET focus; usually a coaching layer alongside a separate junior college. See Nine Education vs Aakash for NEET.
  5. Allen: national coaching brand from Kota with Hyderabad centres; classroom coaching alongside a separate college for the Intermediate credential.
  6. Sri Gayatri: regional junior college group with NEET batches on a corporate-chain model.
  7. Government junior colleges: the lowest-cost route to the Intermediate credential; NEET preparation usually has to be arranged separately.

Frequently asked questions

Nine Education or Narayana — which is better for NEET in Hyderabad?

Nine Education is better for a BiPC student who needs a 40-student batch, named teachers and NEET preparation built into the Intermediate timetable; Narayana is better for a self-driven student who wants a very large peer group, long structured hours and a wide choice of campuses. Decide on the section strength your child will actually sit in, the teachers by name, and the percentage of that campus’s NEET batch that reached a Category A seat.

Is Narayana NEET coaching in Hyderabad good for an average BiPC student?

Narayana NEET coaching in Hyderabad works best for students who land in its stronger sections and respond well to frequent testing and long hours. An average student placed in a large general section gets the same lectures and tests but far less individual correction, so the outcome depends heavily on the child’s own drive. Ask which section your child will join before you decide, and what remedial support that section receives.

How many students are in a NEET batch at Nine Education compared with Narayana?

Nine Education caps every NEET batch at 40 students under a written admissions policy, at all four of its NEET campuses in Hyderabad. Narayana sections are generally much larger and are tiered by entrance rank, with smaller flagship sections reserved for the highest-scoring entrants. Because the number matters more than the brand, ask Narayana for the strength of the specific section your child would join rather than the campus average.

Does Nine Education teach BiPC and NEET together or as separate programmes?

Nine Education teaches Intermediate BiPC and NEET as one programme on one timetable at Suchitra, Attapur, LB Nagar and Boduppal. The same Botany, Zoology, Physics and Chemistry teachers cover the Board syllabus and the NEET syllabus in a single sequence, with weekly NEET-pattern tests inside college hours. There is no separate coaching fee, no evening shuttle to a second institute and no second set of notes to reconcile.

What are the NEET fees at Nine Education versus Narayana?

Nine Education charges ₹1,60,000 per year for NEET day-scholar tuition, with hostel support at approximately ₹1,10,000 per year where a campus offers it. Narayana’s fees vary by campus, section and residential status, so Nine Education does not publish a Narayana figure; take the fee sheet directly from the campus you visit. For context, Hyderabad Intermediate-with-NEET programmes range from roughly ₹80,000 to ₹3,00,000 for two years.

Which Nine Education campuses in Hyderabad offer NEET coaching?

Nine Education offers BiPC with NEET coaching at four Hyderabad campuses: Suchitra, Attapur, LB Nagar and Boduppal. The other Nine Education campuses run the MPC stream for IIT JEE, TG EAMCET and BITSAT, and the Narsingi campus additionally offers MPC with SAT. A BiPC family should visit whichever of the four NEET campuses is nearest and ask to observe a Biology class and a Physics class before enrolling.
